Narrative:
VANCOUVER, WA – Four people were critically injured in a single-vehicle crash earlier this month on a busy roadway in Vancouver.
The incident happened around 12:42 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, in the area of 3900 SE 192nd Ave, which is between Lewis and Clark Highway and SE 34th Street.
The investigation indicates that the 19-year-old driver crashed into a tree while headed southbound on SE 192nd Avenue. The force of the collision threw one of the passengers approximately 50 feet away from the vehicle.
All four occupants of the vehicle went to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police suspect that alcohol was a factor in the crash, and the driver will likely face a charge of vehicular assault.
The investigation is ongoing.
