Two hospitalized after vehicle crashes into tent in Tacoma

TACOMA, WA – Two people were injured after a car drove into their tent while they were inside of it in Tacoma on Friday, KOMO reports.

Authorities report that at the 1800 block of S 82nd at approximately noon, a man drove his vehicle into a tent on the side of the road.

One male and one female, occupants of the tent, were both hospitalized for injuries. Their condition was not reported.

The unnamed 20-year-old man driving the vehicle has been arrested.
