A pedestrian caused chaos and crashed into several cars after stealing a semi and driving it on I-5 on Nov. 18th. By 2p.m., no cars were admitted southbound on Martin Way. The trick crashed sometime in between 2p.m. and 3p.m. By 3, all lanes of I-5 in the area were closed off. At 4p.m., police were able to deal with the suspect by using force to open the vehicle and then by using teargas. Finally, at 7:30p.m., one lane opened going north. The carjacker did not have any means of identification with him when he died at the scene. The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office is running the investigation.
