Narrative
COLVILLE, WA – A male driver died on Friday in a single-vehicle accident along the highway in north-central Stevens County.
Police say the crash happened in the evening along WA-395 near Williams Lake Road, which is on the northern outskirts of Colville.
Authorities say the driver may have lost control of his vehicle because of the icy road conditions. The vehicle veered off of WA-395 and hit a tree.
Authorities have not yet identified the victim.
