Narrative
LYNNWOOD, WA – A man died on Wednesday when a school bus struck him along a highway in southwest Snohomish County.
Crews responded to the accident in the morning on Highway 99 north of 156th Street Southwest, which is just east of PAWS Wildlife Center.
Police say that the pedestrian was wearing black and crossing the highway outside of a designated crosswalk when the bus hit him. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
Officials do not suspect impairment on the part of the bus driver.
