LYNNWOOD, WA – A person died on Monday in Lynnwood after at least one vehicle struck them along the interstate.
The incident happened sometime after midnight on I-5 between 220th Street Southwest and 44th Avenue West, which is near Hall Lake.
Police say that they found the pedestrian deceased at the scene of the accident. They’ve not yet released the victim’s identity to the public.
It’s unclear how many vehicles might have been involved in the accident and if any of them remained at the scene.
Officials closed the northbound side of the interstate in the area of the crash for hours while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
