Narrative
MARYSVILLE, WA – One person died on Wednesday morning in Marysville after a vehicle struck them along the interstate before fleeing the scene.
The incident happened around 8:25 a.m. on the northbound side of I-5 just south of mile marker 199, which is just west of Ebey Waterfront Park.
At this time, it’s unclear whether the pedestrian was walking in the roadway or along the shoulder at the time of the collision.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim, nor have they shared any details about a suspect in the hit-and-run.
