Narrative
SKAGIT CO., WA – A single-vehicle collision along a highway in southwestern Skagit County killed a 15-year-old girl and injured three other teens on Tuesday.
The accident happened just before 10 p.m. on WA-534 just east of Coyote Lane, which is just northwest of Lake McMurray.
The investigation indicates that a 15-year-old male driver lost control of his vehicle at a bend in the road, left the highway, and crashed into a utility pole.
The female victim was unrestrained at the time of the accident and died at the scene.
Medics transported two 15-year-old boys and a 16-year-old girl to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
