Narrative
A pedestrian who was struck in an auto-pedestrian accident on Aurora Avenue North on March 30th died after several attempts of CPR. The first person to start the CPR was the same driver who struck the victim around 2a.m. The King County sheriffs then arrived on the scene and continued CPR. However, paramedics pronounced the victim deceased upon their arrival. The victim was a male in his thirties. The driver was in his forties. He cooperated with authorities and does not currently face charges as he was not impaired. The area between North 165th and North 170th was closed off as the King County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Response and Reconstruction Unit led the onsite investigation. It was opened back up by 6a.m.
