Narrative
A woman was killed when a forklift driver caused her vehicle to crash into a truck in the opposite lane on Aurora Ave. on Feb. 7th. The forklift driver faces charges of vehicular homicide because he caused the crash to occur. Authorities also suspected the forklift driver was intoxicated when the accident happened. The crash happened when the forklift driver first collided into the SUV while driving east at 3:30p.m. Then, the SUV was pushed into the other lane and it then collided with a landscape truck that was driving in the opposite direction. The 25 year-old woman who was killed was a passenger in the SUV. Her driver, a 27 year-old man, survived. However, both SUV occupants were initially hospitalized at Harborview Medical Center. The driver of the truck was fine, but he was also sent to the hospital to be checked. No reports were given about the at-fault driver’s condition.
