SEATTLE, WA – One person died, and another person sustained critical injuries in a 4-vehicle collision Tuesday morning in the Skyway area.
The incident happened around 5:27 a.m. at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Way and South 129th Street, which is northwest of Fortune Casino Tukwila and Riverside Casino.
Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the circumstances of the crash except to say that the person who caused it died at the scene while one other person went to the hospital with serious injuries. Authorities haven’t yet released the name of the deceased.
The collision blocked both sides of Martin Luther King Jr. Way for more than a couple of hours while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene. Officials warned motorists of lengthy delays.
