Red light runner killed, another injured at mile 0 of SR-125

WALLA WALLA COUNTY, WA – A three-car crash on SR-125 at the Washington-Oregon state line resulted in one fatality and one hospitalization on Friday night.

NBC Right Now reports the accident occurred on Southbound SR-125 at approximately 8 p.m. when a driver ran a red light.

The driver, Walla Walla resident Feliciano Rodriguez, 47, struck two vehicles in the intersection.

Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.

An unnamed victim in another vehicle was hospitalized at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. The severity of their injuries was not reported.

No other injuries are reported.

This accident is still part of an ongoing investigation.
