Narrative
A 36 year-old man, who has not yet been publicly identified by name, was killed by a car while walking west on State Road 166. Scott Pereira, 59, was driving the 1994 Chevy Blazer that struck the pedestrian. Pereira was also heading west on the road when he ran over the pedestrian. It was around 11:51p.m. when the pedestrian was hit in the middle lane of traffic close to milepost 1. The victim passed away at the scene. The Washington State Patrol attended to the emergency, and they did not disclose any other information on this case.
