PORT ORCHARD, WA – A motorcyclist was hurt in a crash when a truck driver failed to his vehicle on Sedgwick Road Tuesday afternoon.
The Kitsap Sun reports that the accident took place close to 4:15 p.m. where Sedgwick and Bodle Roads intersect when a Harley Davidson motorcycle struck the rear panel of a Toyota Tacoma that had entered the roadway in its path.
The motorcyclist, an unnamed 39-year-old man, was transported to St. Joseph Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries are reported in the crash.
The 29-year-old driving the Tacoma was given a citation for failure to yield.
