Narrative:
Kittitas County, WA – Two people died, and two others were hospitalized early this past week after their vehicle crashed into a ditch along the interstate just east of Cle Elum.
The incident happened on Monday on I-90, south of Teanaway and not far from Elk Heights Sno Park.
The investigation indicates that the driver of a 2013 Subaru Legacy lost control of the vehicle, crossed over the interstate, and ran into a ditch.
Two passengers died in the crash. Authorities identified them as 26-year-old Brendan Kivlehan and 24-year-old Natalie Nicoletti.
The driver, identified as 20-year-old Julian Dayap of Everett, and a third passenger went to the hospital with injuries.
A full investigation is underway to determine if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision.
