SEATTLE, WA – A wrong-way collision caused by an alleged DUI driver early Thursday morning along the interstate in Seattle caused injuries.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on I-5 north of Columbian Way, which is northwest of Jefferson Park.
The investigation indicates that a northbound vehicle entered the southbound side of I-5 and collided with a southbound vehicle.
The driver and passenger of the southbound vehicle went to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The 27-year-old female responsible for the accident also sustained injuries for which she was taken to the hospital. Police say she faces charges that include DUI and vehicular assault.
