Narrative
A driver of a suspected stolen vehicle collided with an elderly woman, injuring her severely, on SR-16 on March 22nd. This driver and his girlfriend, who stopped at the crash site before police arrived, then left, are thought to have taken a gray Ford F350 pickup from Tacoma Mall. That stolen truck is the vehicle that the at-fault driver ended up striking the 73 year-old woman with. Around 12:59p.m., the suspect took off from the scene on Route 302. Law enforcement is searching for him and his girlfriend. The man was described as being Caucasian and having a short beard along with brown and curly hair. The girlfriend is also Caucasian. She has long hair that is dyed pink at the bottom, and she was seen driving a white Ford Ranger. Both of the suspects are in their thirties.
