OLYMPIA, WA- One juvenile was killed and four people injured in a two-vehicle collision on Thursday on Yelm Highway, The Olympian reports.
The crash happened on westbound state Route 510.
The person who eventually died, and one of the severely injured, were in the vehicle that was responsible for the crash. These two and three others were hospitalized.
There were three more people in the at-fault vehicle, but they did not sustain severe injuries.
The WSTOD, WSP, and Lacey Fire District 3 all responded to the crash around 6 in the morning near Nisqually Red Wind Casino.
They were forced to closed down all lanes on the highway, even though they attempted to just have the westbound lane closed in the beginning. All lanes opened back up at 10:30a.m.
