KENNEWICK, WA – A crash on Highway 14 resulted in one death and five hospitalizations on Friday morning.
The Tri-City Herald reports the accident occurred close to 4:30 a.m. when a GMC Sierra ran a stop sign at the Plymouth Road intersection and was struck by a F-250 haulting a boat.
The fatality victim, 35-year-old Redmond resident Edith Moreno Colin, was one of the passengers in the Sierra.
Three other occupants in the Sierra were injured. The driver and two passengers were all taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
Two occupants in the F-250 including the driver and a boy of 11 were hospitalized.
The severity of the injuries sustained are unreported as of this writing.
This crash is still under investigation.
