TACOMA, WA – A teenager was struck by a vehicle and killed while crossing the street in Parkland on Tuesday night, reports FOX13. The victim was a 13-year-old riding his bicycle through the crosswalk at the intersection of SR-7 and 134th Street. At approximately 4 p.m., a driver a Jeep struck the child, who died at the scene. Washington State Police are still investigating this accident. At this time, impairment is not suspected as a cause of the crash, and no criminal charges have been reported. TACOMA, WA – Two people were injured after a car drove into their tent while they were inside of it in Tacoma on Friday, KOMO reports. Authorities report that at the 1800 block of S 82nd at approximately noon, a man drove his vehicle into a tent on the side of the road. One male and one female, occupants of the tent, were both hospitalized for injuries. Their condition was not reported. The unnamed 20-year-old man driving the vehicle has been arrested.
