MARYSVILLE, WA – Police are investigating a three-vehicle collision that killed a motorcyclist along the interstate in Marysville early Tuesday.
The accident occurred sometime around 3:20 a.m. on the southbound side of I-5, just south of WI-531 and near Lakewood Crossing.
Authorities say the incident involved a motorcycle, a Jeep, and an 18-wheeler and that the motorcyclist died at the scene. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
It’s unclear if anyone else was injured in the crash, as the details are still preliminary.
Officials closed the southbound lanes of I-5 in the area of the crash for around six hours while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
