Narrative
TUKWILA, WA – Three people died, and one person sustained critical injuries in a solo crash along a busy roadway in Tukwila on Sunday night.
Police say the accident likely happened around 11:30 p.m., though authorities did not discover it until the next morning. The incident occurred on South 128th Street just east of Military Road South, which is just east of Hilltop Park.
The cause of the accident is still unknown. Authorities say that a vehicle left the roadway and partially overturned, ejecting two of the occupants. Those two people died, as did a third person found inside the vehicle.
Medics transported one other person to the hospital with serious injuries.
A full investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident and how it went undiscovered overnight.
