Narrative
45-50 vehicles were effected by one vehicle that blocked I-90 EB as a massive pileup resulted from that and the fog on Dec. 7th. 38 vehicles were actually involved in the pileup resulting from the one vehicle that lost traction and stopped on the road. The rest of the vehicles were all involved, within 1 miles of the initial crash site. The roadway was closed from 5:30a.m. to 3:30p.m. Five people were hospitalized and other traffic was given two detour options through U.S. 2 over Stevens Pass or U.S. 12 over White Pass.
