Driver killed in fiery rollover crash in Auburn

AUBURN, WA – A man died in a fiery single-vehicle crash in Auburn on Sunday morning, reports KIRO 7.

Responders were initially reacting to a reported brush fire on State Route 167 near 37th Street at around 3:30 p.m.. Upon arrival, they discovered the cause of the fire was started by a crashed vehicle.

The driver, an unidentified 35-year-old man, had been ejected from the vehicle as it rolled over from the roadway into a ditch.

Investigators determined the victim was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
