Deputy injured in head-on with suspected DUI driver near Monroe

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA – On Wednesday night a man now charged with DUI was involved in a head-on collision near Monroe that seriously injured a King County Sherriff’s Office deputy.

KIRO reports that the crash took place at milepost 19 of State Route 2.

The circumstances that caused the crash are not reported.

Police took the suspect drunk driver into custody.

This crash is still under investigation.
