SPOKANE, WA – A Spokane Police Department cruiser was struck by another driver while the officer was responding to a call in Spokane, reports KHQ news.
The crash occurred at West 2nd Avenue and Stevens Street when the police vehicle was T-boned at the intersection by another driver. The SPD vehicle had lights and sirens on at the time of the crash.
Neither driver was reportedly injured.
The officer had been en route to a report involving someone threatening violence with a knife. SPD was able to respond to the situation with other officers to apprehend a suspect.
As of this writing, this crash is still being investigated.
