PUYALLUP, WA – A customer at a boba shop was hurt when a car crashed through the front of the building and pinned her to the counter on Monday, reports Fox 13 Seattle.
The crash occurred on S. Meridian Street in Puyallup when a driver in the parking lot of the Harmony Boba House accidentally stepped on the gas and drove through the front of the store.
The injured woman was said to be in stable condition when responders transported her to the hospital.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
Damages to the building are reported to be extensive, raising concerns about when the shop will be able to safely reopen.
