SKYKOMISH, WA – A wrong way collision near Skynomish sent three people to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon, HeraldNet reports.
The crash occurred on U.S. 2 at approximately 1:11 p.m. when an eastbound Mercedes-Benz SUV drifted into the oncoming lane and struck a westbound Ford F-350 head-on.
The 69-year-old man from Everett driving the SUV was hospitalized at Harborview Medical Center.
The two other injured persons, reportedly from Olathe, Kansas, were transported to EvergreenHealth Monroe.
The severity of the injuries sustained is unknown at this time as is the cause of the crash, though authorities at this time to do not suspect impairment.
