Teen in critical condition after hit-and-run in Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VALLEY, WA – A teenager was critically injured in an apparent hit-and-run on Monday morning in Spokane Valley.

KREM reports that police are still searching for a motorist who struck a young male at close to 3:20 a.m. close to the intersection of South University Road and 6th Avenue.

The teen was initially unresponsive and in critical condition when he was transported to the hospital.

Police have indicated that a dark SUV reportedly seen near the accident was responsible, but have not announced any official suspect or suspect vehicles at this time.
