Teen in critical condition after hit-and-run in Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VALLEY, WA – A teenager was critically injured in an apparent hit-and-run on Monday morning in Spokane Valley.

KREM reports that police are still searching for a motorist who struck a young male at close to 3:20 a.m. close to the intersection of South University Road and 6^th Avenue.

The teen was initially unresponsive and in critical condition when he was transported to the hospital.

Police have indicated that a dark SUV reportedly seen near the accident was responsible, but have not announced any official suspect or suspect vehicles at this time.
