AUBURN, WA – A man was killed in Auburn after rear-ending a vehicle in highway traffic on last Saturday night, according to the Auburn Reporter.
The crash occurred at close to 9 p.m. when a 56-year-old motorcyclist was changing lanes near where Route 167 meets 15th Street Northwest and struck the rear of an Audi in that lane.
The unnamed man was thrown from the motorcycle and came to rest in the shoulder after sliding an estimated 30 yards from the crash site.
Responders declared the man dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
